mindmappal.com opens, with a waiting list for the MindmapPal app for iPhone and iPad. A mind map editor that runs in the browser, with nothing to install and no files uploaded. Seven free web tools, including an XMind viewer, Markdown and OPML to mind map, and XMind to PNG and Markdown. Mind map templates that open in the editor, each shown as the editor draws it. Guides, comparisons with other mind map apps, and help articles. This changelog, with an RSS feed. Use cases for eight roles, from students and teachers to product managers and consultants, each with templates and tools to start from. A glossary of 24 mind map terms, from central topic and floating topic to OPML and the .xmind file. 15 more templates, among them a lesson plan, study schedule, product roadmap, customer journey and risk assessment, for 40 in all.
