About MindmapPal

MindmapPal is a mind map app for iPhone and iPad, made by ElevenApril. It is coming soon to the App Store.

What we make

The app opens .xmind, OPML and Markdown files, works offline and keeps every map as a file you own, in iCloud Drive or on your device. This site adds free tools that do some of the same in a browser: make a map, open a .xmind file, and convert between formats, with your file kept on your device.

How we write these pages

Facts about MindmapPal come from the app and the web tools themselves. If a page says the app or a tool does something, it does it today.
Facts about other apps are checked on their makers’ own websites and help pages, and each comparison says when, as in “as of November 2026”, and lists its sources. Where we could not check something, we leave it out rather than guess.
No paid placements. No app maker pays to appear on, or be left off, a page here.
Templates are outlines we wrote to be useful as they are, not filler, and each opens in the browser editor.
Corrections. If something is wrong or out of date, email support@elevenapril.com and we will fix it and update the page’s date.

The people at ElevenApril who build MindmapPal and its web tools. We write the guides, templates and help pages on this site, test each step in the app or the tools, and review every page before it goes up.
