The MindmapPal iPhone and iPad app and the waiting list
MindmapPal for iPhone and iPad is coming soon. What it opens, where it keeps your maps, and how to join the waiting list for a message at launch.
Steps
- Go to the waiting list form on the home page.
- Enter your email address and submit the form.
- Wait for one message from us when MindmapPal is on the App Store.
Status
MindmapPal for iPhone and iPad is coming soon to the App Store. It opens .xmind, OPML and Markdown files, the same formats as the web tools.
Join the waiting list
Use the waiting list on the home page. We store your email address, the page you joined from and the time, and use the address once, to tell you when the app is on the App Store. We then delete it. To have it removed sooner, write to support.
How the app keeps maps
The app does not ask for an account. Maps are files in your iCloud Drive, or on your device when iCloud is off. We cannot see what is in iCloud, and map files are never sent to us.
Taking a web map with you
Choose Export in a web tool and pick .xmind file. That file keeps the whole map. Markdown and OPML keep topics and notes only. See exporting a map. On a phone browser the editor opens in View mode; tap Edit to change a map.
